Would you rather be a slave-owner or a slave? Consider all aspects of either role; what you can do and what you have to put up with on a regular basis. As always, think and explain.
i think that i would prefer to be a slave because i don't think that i would be able to be as heartless as some of the slave owners i would feel bad for the slaves, so i would prefer to a slave
I think I would rather be a slave owner. There were many slave owners who treated slaves as their own family and gave them much respect. If I were a slave owner I would be that type of person and I would go as far as to pay my workers and eventually liberate them.(yea I know that sounds unrealistic but i WOULD!)I dont have the heart to enslave people, but I dont have the work ethic to be a slave... :) So I would help as many slaves earn their freedom and respect as possible.
I would rather be a slave owner than a slave. There weren't a lot but there were some slave owners who were kind to their slaves. There was no rule that you had to treat your slaves poorly. I would include my slaves in my family or free them if they wanted...(but who wouldnt want that?) A slave owner could just buy slaves and then free them and thats basically what I would do.
